Privacy Policy
Last updated: March 3, 2026
1. Introduction
CCUCheck ("we", "our", or "the Service") is a Roblox game analytics dashboard. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect information when you visit our website at ccucheck.com.
2. Information We Collect
2.1 Publicly Available Game Data
We collect publicly available information about Roblox games, including game names, player counts, genres, thumbnails, and descriptions. This data is publicly accessible and does not include any personal user information from Roblox players.
2.2 Authentication Data (Google OAuth)
If you sign in using Google OAuth, we receive your name and email address from Google. This information is used to identify your account, manage your subscription, and personalise your experience. Your email address is stored in our database to link your account to your subscription, game lists, watchlist settings, and other user preferences.
2.3 Roblox Account Linking (Roblox OAuth)
You may optionally link your Roblox account via Roblox OAuth. When you do so, we receive your Roblox user ID, username, and display name from Roblox. This information is stored in our database and used to display your Roblox identity within the Service (e.g. on leaderboards and your account page). You can unlink your Roblox account at any time from the Account settings page, which will remove this data. You can also review Roblox's privacy practices at Roblox Privacy Policy.
2.4 Automatically Collected Data
Like most websites, our hosting provider may automatically collect standard server logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. We do not use any third-party analytics or tracking services.
3. How We Use Information
- To display Roblox game analytics and trends on the dashboard
- To authenticate and authorize administrative access
- To maintain and improve the Service
4. Cookies
We use essential cookies only. A session cookie is set when you sign in via Google OAuth to maintain your authentication state. We do not use any advertising, tracking, or analytics cookies.
5. Data Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or share any personal information with third parties. Authentication is handled through Google OAuth and optionally Roblox OAuth. You can review their respective privacy practices at Google Privacy Policy and Roblox Privacy Policy.
6. Data Retention
Game analytics data is retained for as long as it is useful for trend analysis. Session data expires when you sign out or when your session token expires. Server logs are retained according to our hosting provider's standard retention policies.
7. Children's Privacy
This Service is a publicly viewable analytics dashboard. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The Service does not require account creation for general use.
8. Your Rights (GDPR)
If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have certain rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), including:
- Right of access: You may request information about any personal data we hold about you.
- Right to rectification: You may request correction of inaccurate personal data.
- Right to erasure: You may request deletion of your personal data.
- Right to object: You may object to the processing of your personal data.
- Right to data portability: You may request a copy of your data in a portable format.
Since we do not store personal data beyond session tokens, there is minimal personal data to manage. If you have signed in via Google OAuth, you can revoke access at any time through your Google Account permissions. To exercise any of the above rights, please contact us using the information in Section 11 below.
9. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
Where GDPR applies, our legal basis for processing personal data is:
- Legitimate interest: Displaying publicly available game analytics data and maintaining site security via server logs.
- Consent: When you voluntarily sign in via Google OAuth for administrative access.
10. International Data Transfers
Our servers may be located outside the EEA. By using the Service, you acknowledge that your data may be transferred to and processed in countries that may not provide the same level of data protection as your home country. We take reasonable steps to ensure your data is treated securely.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
