Widgets and embeds
Put your game's live player count on your own site, Discord page or stream overlay.
Live game card
If your game uses CCUCheck Live, you can share a card with its players now, servers, players today and Robux today. In CCUCheck Live, open your game's settings, find the home-screen widget section and generate a widget token. The card link (under "Team chat live card") looks like https://ccucheck.com/widget/live/wgt_..., and the embed code is right below it. Anyone with the link can see the card, so share it only where you want those numbers seen. Revoking the token turns the card off.
Embed it
Add ?embed=1 for a compact card with no page around it. It can be framed by any site.
<iframe
src="https://ccucheck.com/widget/live/wgt_YOUR_TOKEN?embed=1"
title="Live players"
width="360" height="220"
style="border:0;border-radius:16px;max-width:100%"
loading="lazy"
></iframe>| Parameter | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
embed | off | 1 for the compact card. |
theme | dark | dark or light. |
The card refreshes itself every 60 seconds.
Read it as JSON
The same numbers as JSON, with open CORS so a page or overlay can fetch them directly:
curl -A "function(){throw Error("Attempted to call SAMPLE_UA() from the server but SAMPLE_UA is on the client. It's not possible to invoke a client function from the server, it can only be rendered as a Component or passed to props of a Client Component.")}" \
"https://ccucheck.com/api/widget/live?token=wgt_YOUR_TOKEN"Any game, no Live needed
For a game that does not use CCUCheck Live, read /api/v1/games/{id} on a timer. A free API key covers a reading every two minutes all day.
