Data Sources & Methodology

This page describes the public Roblox data sources CCUCheck uses and the limits of our methodology.

Public Roblox sources

CCUCheck uses public Roblox APIs and public Roblox web endpoints to retrieve game metadata, public dev portfolio relationships, thumbnails, presence signals, and related analytics inputs.

CCU and portfolio data

Current-player and portfolio views come from Roblox's public game and presence surfaces. Dev Feed follows public user and group portfolios and surfaces newly observed public experiences in those portfolios.

Revenue estimates

Revenue figures are model-based estimates derived from public market signals, public ranking data, player activity, and calibration assumptions. They are intended for benchmarking and directional analysis only. Actual revenue may differ materially.

What we do not use

  • Private Roblox APIs or internal endpoints
  • Roblox account credentials or authentication tokens
  • Private game data, friend graphs, or direct messages
  • Hidden or non-public revenue statements
